I have a nfl blitz 2000 pcb and I'm trying to hookup to a standard res monitor. I need the correct dip settings I believe to change the game from medium to standard res. I googled dip settings for the game and I believed I had it correct but the post screen kinda worked but then the game screen came up and was definitely the wrong resolution. I have included pics of my pcb dip settings and the screenshots.

Thanks
Chris

if the resolution was wrong you would have a double image. also whether you run standard or medium res the POST screen and game would be the same.

your problem is your horizontal hold is set barely good enough for the POST screen but needs to be adjusted for the game mode.

specifying which monitor you have would've been good in your first post. ;) most of the time it's not on the remote board but the deflection board itself.

My chassis (p538) is a wells Gardner 25k7000.

I adjusted the H-Hold pot just behind the neck board and the picture cleared up. Also the picture cleared up great once I connected the -5v on the harness. So it may have been both issues.

Thanks everyone!
