So I have seen this a few times on here.

Is it safe for unprotected paint on playfields?

Works great.

Tested a bit on the funhouse I am working on. I do have simple green. Which is better? I am worried about hurting the paint on this machine.

I plan on doing the Treasure Cove method after the cleaning.

I do not want to damage this at all.

Never used bleach-white before. There's truly no right or wrong answer here for prodcut, but if it were me (I own a FH), I'd use Simple Green to remove the top layer of crap. Then Using the Treasure Cover kit start with #3 compound. Wipe off. If you still have dirt or ball swirl marks do #3 again. Wipe off and IF needed do #3 one last time but I sure wouldn't do it anymore than 3 times. By now you should be able to step down to #2. You may/may not have to do this twice. Lastly Step down to #1 which should only need to be done once.
Now apply a nice Caranuba wax job. Let it get nice and hard then wipe off. For kicks and grins add a second coat of wax. Let dry hard and wipe off.
After this - honestly I'd say either stick to using #2 an #1 only or save your kit and use Novus #2 and regular waxing.

I also bought this kit. I was simply amazed that this kit made my PF on my LOTR shine like glass. This pf had been recently shopped and the amount of crap that came up using #3 compound was unbelievable.
While you're at it, buy some Cliffy post protectors so you get MUCH less rubber dust and debris on the PF. Cliffy protector FULL kit IMHO is mandatory on this game.

I think I grabbed the bleache-white after hearing from folks who use it on rubbers. One thread I subscribed to mentioned it on playfields. I will simple green from here on out. I only did the little bit in the above pic. I figured it might not be what I thought and decided to ask.

I wish it was my game. Will let them know about the cliffy's for sure. The owner loves pinball and wants them to work great for years to come. That is where I came in.

Thanks for the detail on the way to go Deadly. I respect you a bunch for what you provide to this community.

I novous 2 the carp out of all my stuff. Got the TC kit to do some stuff I have wished nov2 could do. Pinbots have destroyed mylar. Makes me so sad, hoping for the best. I am sure nov2 in the same polishing kit would do similar.

Funhouse was my first pin. While it may not be a deep rule set game, there's just something absolutely mind blowing fun with that game. Maybe it's because I'm a simpleton? /shrugs . I sincerely love that game and any chance I can help someone out on one I will.

Too bad that isn't your pin. BEFORE you give it back to him play the hell out of it "to make sure it's 100% functional" of course ;)
And what a better way to find out if a game trips your trigger??!!!

Already have 186 games "testing"

All the work I am doing on it is here

Just love the game. It is a friendly exchange on this machine repair wise. I have learned so much and loved having him here. He is going to shine.

Bleche White is pretty powerful stuff. I wouldn't use it on a playfield.

That was what I was thinking, so I figured I should ask.

saw something that made me smile on the funhouse though.

Tried googling info on why that is there and found only my post and a tweet from Rudy.
