Good luck with the hunt, man! Jealous of that one! Such an underrated game!

Also, x-ref with VAPS. There are a few owners on here.

Hi guys, I got hires photos a few years back and was too lazy to post them for download. There was a harnessed CP with artwork that went up on auction in 2015 I think and the winner was nice enough to photo it for me. I have the photos and a repro I did for my machine. Will be very happy to share. Give me a day or 2 and I can either get a group dropbox or photobucket set for download. I have a marquee translite but I think I bought that online.
Weird thing is we actually started in on my Blaster duramold yesterday (day off) and Noel mentioned this thread. My Blaster had been previously converted to Eswat, understandably (????), so it needed a CPO. The repro CPO looks great and fits the original control panel well.
Pics to follow. Also, may be repro handles in the future but that's not my project and seems a much greater endeavor than just art.

Here are the hires photos that were given to me (had them in a Dropbox backup). I think the printer pulled the final version out of the dropbox folder when they used it (note to self: Private only backups). I'll find the repro I did this evening I hope. These photos were given to me and he ok'd sharing. I need to find his name so he can get the Karma points.

Anyway, hope this helps.

That would be awesome!!!!! I just bought an original marquee from John Exidy, once I get it I plan on sending to Rich if he's interested in reproducing the Duramold Blaster Marquee.
The cpo would be a huge help!!

Here is the CPO I did based on the photos. Below is the sample jpeg and a link to the dropbox tif and hires jpeg. It's "blaster.tif". The size should be 21" x 8" at 300 DPI I believe. Also there a hires jpeg of the marquee, though not as good as the ones sold I think. Will grab some photos of the CPO on the CP soon.

I used my meager skills to make these presentable but they are far from perfect. If anyone makes them better or cleans them up further, and wishes to share, please upload them to the DB folder (it's the public folder) and post the update on this thread.

Hope this helps.

Another piece added to Blaster! Marquee can be marked off the list.
Still need a cpo and joystick.

Thought I might post this here for anyone interested. I have been displeased with the 2.75" hole in the CP for the modified joystick cosmetically. Thought about felt but found these (below). These fit the hole exactly and nearly match the CPO yellow. These are MOPAR flanged caps (Exact part: TAPERED WIDE FLANGE PLUGS LDPE YELLOW TWF2.63/2.75YW1 on the MOPAR site). I think it looks very much like a dedicated cabinet part once in place. Still will need to cut a circular hole in the bottom for the joystick shaft but cosmetically much better until repro handles exist. They'll make you buy 10 ($2 and change each) so if anyone desperately needs one for their CP, let me know. I have seven spares, or so.

I know this is a necro-bump, but I wanted to thank you for the drop-box post. I picked up a Blaser duramold conversion today.

Thank you
Brian

Was that the one converted to a BreakThru?
