I just did a total rebuild on my Blackout flippers, new coils & all. They still seem to be pretty weak. I have adjusted the switches to make better contact and still nothing. Any ideas on where to look? Could this be a driver board issue?

Check the big caps on the board.

Only C13 and C14 are on the flipper circuit. 100uf and .1uf. They're more there for filtering out ripple, won't make much real difference in the flipper strength. What kind of voltage are you seeing at the flippers themselves? The big 15,000uf is only on the logic +5v circuit, and the "big blue" inside the backbox is only on the lamp circuit.

Have enough clearance between the flipper bat and the nylon bushing? If that's rubbing at all, it will slow them down a lot.

Also give the button switches a good cleaning too.

Do they move freely when you push them with your finger? They can't drag at all. They should have about 1/16 inch of up and down movement through the playfield bushing before the crank hits it.
