Picked up this guy at an estate sale for three bills. It's basically DOA, doesn't play blind and nothing came up on the monitor when the seller fired it up ("It works!"--the only things that came on were the marquee and coin lights). But everything is there and the tube is intact.

Got it home and pulled the fragile parts for cleaning and safety. I don't think it's ever been worked on before (after the factory conversion from Gravitar, at least). Bezel is the cleanest and least-damaged for an Atari vector that I've ever seen. Serial numbers (minus the 6100) all match.

Some cab damage on the right side, this will be job one (not counting cleanup of the electronics):

Interior is pretty much complete. Only parts missing are the coin box, the front locks and coin mechanisms, one coin return bezel and both coin return buttons.

I'll replace the bottlecap transistor on the ARII and check all the power levels next, after that it'll be on to the 6100. It'll be a while before I get to any of this, but I do have time today to get all the dirty parts washed up.

Speaking of the 6100, I'm not familiar with Black Widow or Gravitar (which is what I mostly see here) burn-in. Is that horizontal line normal? Or did somebody leave this thing on with vertical collapse so long that it burned in?
