Black Widow Atari WG Monitor - why is there a Red dot??

My Black widow has a small red dot in the middle of the screen. Occasionally there are faint red traces near the dot. The monitor looks amazing otherwise.

Is this normal? Do I need to adjust something?

Thanks for any advice.

Without seeing a pic, it sounds like you have a full picture, with a little red dot in the center? You can try turning down the red a little to see if it goes away but the rest of the red stays there...

Here are some pics

I attached some pics.

You can try turning each of the red pots down to see if that helps, or maybe the brightness a touch...

You need to back the Screen control down till you do not the see the red over-vector lines. If the colors then seem out of balance with each other or some are missing adjust the color drives on the neckboard. You should also figure out which version of the WG6100 neckboard/neckboard wiring harness you have. They made 2 different ones. See the WG6100 manual and/or FAQ.

Ok things have gotten worse today, now its not red its yellow and there are allot of tracers visible at multiple stages of the game including high scores. There is even a ghosted player 2 spider showing up now. Does that mean it could be the pcb?

Pictures included.

I have not adjusted brightness yet because I need to get the tool for it.

I included some pics of the monitor as well.

What tool? The brightness pot is the bottom one in this picture:

Lol. I was going to try that one!
The manual said it was the small hole one the top left of the monitor pcb.

But it also did not point out the knob under the focus knob.
It does say screen duh? I'm just in such awe of this machine, I'm being super careful.

I'll try adjusting that! Thanks!

One other note: I just got the machine so moving it seems to be effecting the screen. I heard that can happen with vectors. What are some safety measures I should take to insure I don't mess this up. It's still not in it's final resting place.

I need to set up the shrine! Lol

Turn it off when you move it. If the colors look off when it comes back on, degauss it.

The pot that is adjusted thru the hole in the top of the HV cage is the HV Adjust pot...
