Just thought I'd throw it out there that this stuff can get nasty quick. I did a full side with no real problems, just a visual of how even just a speck of dust can show up, even the seams of ink on the old art! The other side wasn't as easy...

The key point I want to say is that it is highly necessary to tape both ends down to each end of the cab... It will drift!!!! I paid hell recovering from it being 1/2in short on one side. Anyway, also peal your first edge and unroll the backing as you go. Only attempt to press down roughly 1/2 inch at a time, anymore and you'll likely get a wrinkle.

If you do that in those steps, you'll successfully lay the vinyl, the smoothness is up to you in your prep & cleanliness.

Think of this crap as a monster size piece of electrical tape... With that, it's highly necessary to only unroll it a little at a time.

Hey fellow local, yah I just did 2 sega cabs not to long ago.It was dificult but they look nice.I wish the material was about 3 times thicker though it would make for a much more forgiving instl.

when you buy the material just pay that little extra to have installation mask installed. that will make it a billion times easier to apply.

I tend not to tape the other side down. But basically the same, I use a tack rag and clean the next 1' or so then ease the vinyl into place, clean the next 1'-2' constantly cleaning with a tack rag. I wipe everything down to start also. Artwork, Cab, Cat.
