Does this look like a converted Defender cab?

Sure does. That flat bump out with the coin door gives it away.

You were correcto!! Thank you for confirming that! I started another thread where I removed the vinyl sticker with a heat gun and started stripping the paint....but not having good luck with preserving the Defender artwork...but, it was very very cool to see the Defender artwork pop out from under that paint!! I had NO IDEA that was an old Defender cabinet when I bought it here locally....I paid $50 and just got it because it was a crappy Jamma game that worked and the cab was solid.....now I know why it was solid...

I am going to gut that cabinet....I need to cap the monitor....I mean, that K4900 alone is worth the $50.

If anyone wants to buy a pristine Black Tiger board, I am selling it....I will throw in the Marquee for free...its got a broken section in the top left corner...I think I have that section laying around here..will try to find it...the marquee is mostly good for display...on a game, its not great...

I am also looking for parts now......

1. Williams Defender Coin Door
2. Williams Defender Control Panel
3. Defender marquee

Dont really need the PCB...may toss my JROK board in this cab. or a 19n1...

This game came with a switcher..so thats nice...and a Jamma harness but I need to clean it up...along with the power brick...the coin door wasnt even hooked up....They had plywood covering half the coin door opening with a smaller door installed.....dumb....

The control panel will be interesting....I kinda want a multi-panel for Defender put on...but if I find a stock Defender panel, I will take it.

might have to measure the coin door hole to see which defender cabinet that is. If i recall from mine, black door and silver door are different sizes.

They are different sizes. And the silver require a different voltage i believe since it has the lockout coils due to being a pinball coindoor.

You don't have to have the lockout coils, most people remove/disable them anyway. Just get 5v and ground to it for the coin insert lights.
