Swapping out playfields on a BK with new CPR playfields. I bought some posts from Marco that say they are the replacements for 03-7491-9. The posts are 1-1/8". I started putting the new ones on the upper playfield, and noticed on the set that goes in the gap in the top wood that they are sitting a little high.. Put on a plastic and it is indeed higher than the wood and the plastic has to bend down to attach to the wood on the ends.. So took one of the old ones and it is shorter than the new ones.. the ones that were on there were 1". At 1", the plastics will be level with the wood surround and plastics don't need to bend down.. not sure if its a huge difference anywhere else as far as bending a plastic to attach to 2 different heights like that area... but would prefer to have the original height. Marco says this is the correct height and that mine must have been changed at some time which I find hard to believe due to the condition of everything... but could be wrong..
So wondering if someone with an original BK with original posts could do a quick measurement on one and tell me if its 1", or 1-1/8" on theirs.

Yep, these are definitely original to the machine, judging by the overall condition when I got it. Though 1-1/16" IS available, and is even closer to the measurements of mine than anything else. Pinball Life also has them 20 cents cheaper per post than Marco (Even cheaper if you get more than 10).

1-1/16" would be 1.0625"
1-1/8" is 1.125"

Where are they listed on Pinball life? I checked there and they only show 9 items under playfield parts/playfield posts-plastic.. with none being the ring-type.

Bah, I was looking at the wrong ones on pinball life. They have the 1-1/16" star posts, but not the finned posts like Black Knight has. Looks like the finned posts are only in 1" or 1-1/8". Either way, mine are definitely not 1-1/8" in height.

Well, thanks for taking the time to check on that for me. I'll check and see what Marco has to say but doubt they will change anything.

Thanks for the link, but ya I saw those.. just ordered twice in the last month from him and don't feel like going to the bank to get a money order (again) for 30 or 40 posts.... Don't know why some of these guys can't join the 20th century on payment as its such a p.i.t.a. to get a money order or certified cheque. Why they wouldn't rather take paypal and take the 10 or 12 bucks the bank takes for the m.o. is beyond me. I'll probably just get off Marco as I need a few more things they have.
