The right upper and lower play field flippers on my Black Knight are weak. They are not mushroomed. I replaced the EOS switch on the upper cus the original was pretty crispy, but no change. Since it affects both flippers, I am assuming that it is not a physical problem with the flippers themselves. Any suggestions??

Could still be a mechanical issue. The fiber links in particular are a wear point that introduces a lot of slop into them, which weakens things quickly. Dirty sleeves. All the usual stuff.

The lower field right and left flippers have been rebuilt somewhere along the way. Would the upper field sleeve being dirty affect the lower flipper also??

No, any mechanical issue would be limited to each individual flippers. Same with EOS switches. The only connection between different flippers is the voltage supply, and in the case of black knight the double leaf switches behind the buttons.

Could be dirty contacts on the button switch stack. Are the voltages the same on all 4 coils, and any chance that you have mismatched coils?

Replace the inline coil springs with WPC type springs. This made a huge difference on mine. I think you need to replace the flipper pawl too. Definitely worth the trouble.
