Went out and finally picked up a Black Knight 2000 that I was working towards.

Shopped and looks amazing! plays perfect!

thats AnimeSuperJ giving it a workout!

GIMME YER MONEY!!

Hokiest but coolest music in a pin ever... Maybe even all of arcadedom!

the best. I handpicked this and the original Black Knight for this new arcade venture that we're starting at a place I work at. overpaid a little I think, the backglass is pretty messed up, I was able to get some money off the original asking price though cause the flippers were dead.

it was an educational process, and a perfect way to get back into fixing these (it had been a few years and I mostly forgot)

tell me how your Skyway Loop works, and what the post is like before the 2nd Skyway switch.

should be a thin black rubber around the post next to the N in the WIN lanes right?

I love BK 2000. I miss the one I used to have. It was not in great shape but it played well. It had cabinet and playfield wear. It was a players game, not a collectors game. It went to a couple that played it when they were dating and really wanted one. It made someone happy. I still miss it, though.

I don't understand the players/collectors mentality.

When I buy a pin, I just want the best one I can afford. I don't care what its called.

We don't have these categories with Vids do we?

Sure we do.

I think its just more important to pinball buyers because there's much more to break and its much more time consuming and expensive to fix.

I like my BK. My first pin.
Maybe would like a BK2K beside him one day....

I felt the same way. BK was my first pin. I still have it. I always tried to like BK2K but it was never a keeper for me. I have owned 3 BK2K's. Sold the 1st one and found a 2nd one about a year later. Tried to like it again but the love never lasted. The 3rd BK2K lasted about one day then it got sold. It seemed like the goal was to try to keep the ball on the upper playfield but with only one flipper on the upper playfield it was hard to keep it up there.
