I made a jamma adapter for my space firebird last weekend, and in removing the video interface board (it was just mussing up the sync), I somehow inverted the colors. The background should be black (and was with the interface board), is now white. Picture is clear and I can play the game now, but the colors are inverted is all. What should I do to fix this?

Does the interface board have a video inverter? It is pretty common for Nintendo boards to need the color inverter.

It's a sega interface board. I'm not sure how to tell if it has a color inverter. All colors, sync and ground had inputs on the board as well as a +5V.

I can't tell you what monitor was in there (mine is missing the chassis), but it should have been a Wells Gardner 19" monitor Gremlin part # 800-0140 (which was apparently the same as with Pengo and frogger).

Probably had something like a K4600 in it..... could maybe tell with a pic of the frame setup.

So what are you hooking it up to now ?

Now, it's hooked up to a nanao monitor.

So, do you guys think it would be possible to hook everything up to the video interface board except for the sync to rectify this problem? Would I need the 5V still without the sync?
