So I'm thinking about grabbing a ps3 on black friday (ya im brave/dumb enough to put up with the crowds) What do you think the 160 gb ones will go for? Retail is $250.00 I'm guessing $200 with a game or 2 bundled in. What do you guys think?

It might be and Id probably pick one up for that price but those damn crowds are insane. Plus you might stand in line for hours and never get one. Thats the part that really sucks

I just found out that raidosahck had a leaked b. Friday ad saying they will have the 160 gb ones bundled with little big planet two and ratchet and clank all 4 one along with a $20.00 gift card for $200.00 bucks. The y have been forcing sites to take down the add but they will be releasing it on the 10th. That sounds like a good deal two me. However I was looking at amazons PS 3's last night and I'm relay liking that 3 year square trade warranty for $35.00. It would be nice to not worry about failure issues for the next 3 years. I hope they have a similar bundle.

As far as the crowds they reaaaaaly do suck. Last year my old crt pc monitor blew up a few days before black friday and my mother wanted a few things they had so I went to walmart and It was insane. They best part was how they rearranged the merchendise to confuse customers and how the place was litterly a sea of slow moving people. I'm hoping amazon or walmart will have b.friday stuff online. Thats the way to do it. Or Just go to less popular black friday spots like radioshack or gamestop.

Anyone do some shopping on Cyber Monday? I'm looking at getting a new PC and hopefully there's good deals for that day or at least Black Friday. I'd definitely love to do my shopping online so I'll be watching places like New Egg for sure.

Cybermonday last year didn't have as many good deals as Friday. There will be some good deals on PC components and systems for sure. I would recommend building your own PC best bang for the buck.

Yeah I'm leaning towards building one. :) I don't need to make one that's super beefy, but I think it'd be fun to build one, and as you said, it would give me the best bang for the buck. If nothing else I should make sure I have room to upgrade the thing if I want more power out of it, but anything I get will be better than this 6 year old machine I have now. It's just due to be replaced.

They just had a price drop recently so I doubt another will happen. Sales are good too. Another reason another will probably not happen. I say $50 gift card and a bigger hard drive. Maybe a game bundled in. But I would put money on it being Gift Card and Bigger HD.

Me. I really want a ps 3 and thats a great deal. Black friday sucks but if you get there at least 3 or 4 hours early you should be towards the front of the line. That way youcan find an employie and ask where "x" item is and make a b line two it then head to the register and get checked out befor the lines get to big. I look at it as sort of an adventure. I will get there early as shit and let knowone fuck with me and my ps3 lol.

Then you, sir, are not in your right mind :)

Good luck to you!

3 or 4 hours early he says...ROFFLES, 3 or 4 hours in a fucking line, in the cold...ain't worth no $50 to me. My time is worth more than $12.50/hr...I'd rather be at work making more than that in OT than standing in a useless lineup to save a few bucks.

However, the deals at Old Navy if you need clothes for your family have been AMAZING the last two years...

My wife and I went. Deal was you would spend like 25$ and get a free Wii/PS3/Xbox 360 game. First year it was Dance Central (Right after Kinect launched...MONEY!!!!) and then last year was Lego Rock Band...

So first year, we bought 100$ worth of clothes. Sold both copies of Dance Central on Ebay and made all of our money back.

Last year, spent about 60$, sold one copy of Lego Rock Band for 50$, and still own the other. Went on to pillage Target as well, got a Wii Fit like 40$ off.

Yeah. I can't wait to see what Old Navy is doing, but this year I will NOT be returning to the same location, as the store manager was a total ASSHAT and let 800 hispanics cram into the entryway which is like 30-40 square feet and then tried to pull the "1 game per FAMILY" bs with us after handing some teenager a ticket, and then his girlfriend a ticket....

Total douchebag.

Black Friday is only worthwhile if you're going to be trying to save thousands of dollars on shit. As in like all new electronics for your entire home or something. Otherwise, the going out part is no where near worth it to me.

Thanks, I have a backup plan two if walmart dosent work out its off to radio shack to stand in another line. Your right im not lol. I think it's because my mother used to feed me pepsi in my tit bottle. It would explane why I go full scale cornholio sometimes and feel like shit untill i get some cafeene in me.

Its more than fifty. It would be $150.00 Your getting $50.00 off the hardware price, little big planet retails for $40.00 and r & klank all for one goes for $60.00. I can take the cold for a few hours to save $150 bucks, hell I just need a hoodie and some coco and im good to go.

I feel ya but for me it works. I'll end up spending that much on software and an extended warrenty from sony anyhow.

I don't buy new games anymore, ever...unless they're on clearance somewhere for equal to or less than used somewhere else, so the savings wouldn't be $150 if it were me.
I still wouldn't wait out in the cold for 3-4 hours to save $150...

I do any black friday shopping online... but then I'll be working, watching our sales and updating stuff, so I'll be online anyways until who knows how early.
