So....where is the best/cheapest place to pick up some black laminate for a multicade cabinet?

This is the cheapest and good quality stuff that I use. I did all 4 of my arcades with this stuff. I would recommend on buying the spray adhesive from there also. The cheap spray adhesive you buy in local store don't hold that well. I already ordered with them 3 times with no problem.
I also bought the rubber foot bumpers and installed them on the back on my arcades to help protect the paint on my walls since my arcades have casters on the bottom.

Here is a few pics with the laminate from reliable hardware. I even did the front in laminate also. Mario has the orange laminate.

Just curious, how many spray cans does it take ? Also I assume you spray on both sides and wait for it to get tacky like normal laminate ?

What's the shipping from Reliable Hardware like? Is their black a match to the matte black Formica/Wilsonart that you'd buy elsewhere? Thanks

I use 2 cans per arcade for both sides and front. Spray and wait until tacky before install. Then router the edges.

I always get mine in 7-10 days after ordering. I don't know if the black matte matches the other brands. Unless you can tell by the pics I posted earlier.

Sorry, I meant the shipping cost, how do they do that? Due to size, I figure it can be high and may need to buy in quantity instead of one piece at a time.

Shipping is under $20 for 2 sheets. I ordered 4 sheets last month with other items and I think the shipping was $29 because of the extra weight. The sheets are rolled up and the other items you order with it are place inside. Just like getting a big tube. After you open it up the sheets go back being flat. They don't stay curled up like some other stuff does.

Thanks for the links and info!

I do not own a router and I'd rather not purchase one if i can hep it. Any other recommendations on cutting it?

You can get away with a very sharp chisel. This is what I have to use when finalizing inside corners, places where my router will not fit. Of course, you have to be very careful and slow. I would never consider cutting a whole cabinet (or countertop) with a chisel, it would take too long and leave too much room for error.

A trim router is very handy to have around, you'll get your money worth by getting one. Pick it up at Harbor Freight for $28.

I'll second the spray adhesive tip and also that you do need a router with a flush trim bit. You can probably pick one up at Harbor Freight for $20 if you watch their sales.

I used Loctite 300 Heavy spray (tip from my brother in-law). It works great and I'll never roll that glue on again.

Borrow a router from someone. That is what my neighbors do. The only reason they bother me is because they always want to borrow something.
