Anyone out there work on BK467s? I went to use mine today and I could not get it to work beyond setting up heater voltage and G1 voltage. I get absolutely not needle movement on cut off, test and rejuvenation. I can here a hum when rejuvenation is selected, but there is nothing going on when I press the individual gun buttons. Nothing going on in the tube neck either.

mine needs serious help too. those little vacuum tube things inside scare me. I was able to reflow the header pin solder, but I never capped it or anything else.

The service manual shows how to take the unit apart. The repair log shows the troubles/solutions people have found in repairing the unit. Owner's manual shows how to operate the unit and has schematic/parts list.

All located here:

There are other threads on repairing the 467 here on this forum, but the search function is currently wonky.

Ken,

Thanks for chiming in. So based on my problem, is this considered the heater circuit when looking at the repair log?

I just fixed an issue like this actually, start testing resistors and diodes. I found that a few had actually drifted too far out of spec and one was actually opened. From what I understand bad diodes and capacitors are also common failure points on these. The service manual walks you through dissassembly, it's actually not that bad.

This was my issue and solution: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/b-k-467-repair-log.478273/

How different is the 467 from the 466 because I completely just rebuilt my 466. I kind of want to complete my bk rejuvenator collection and buy a 467, 470, 480a... wifey would kill me though. Lol

The 467 is more complex. It has a tube and two limiter lightbulbs in the circuit.

I have 2 B&K 465's, both are partial operational. I'd like to get the better of the two fully working. Does anyone repair them? I am short on time and would be willing to trade the lesser of the two in for service to the one. On the keeper, the green functions just fine, but the red and blue functions appear to be dead. It does the same on all monitors. I have the SP-65 adapter and the CR23 plug. The other will register heater voltage on the needle, but no monitor glow or other functions. I've got 3 25" tubes desperately in need of rejuvenating...
