That looks like the right door to me. Williams coin doors didn't look anything like that until the 80's. The 70's Williams coin doors were pretty much all the stainless steel type that you see on Flash.

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this coin door on my BK2k is original? The part number looks right, but it seems strange that the date says 1978 when the date inside the cabinet is 1989. Not a big deal, but I'm just curious if it's original.

Yes that's an original. Date stamp is in error. Probably should have said 88 instead of 78.

Thanks for the info. I agree 1978 probably was supposed to be 1988. As for the W logo, I did a Google image search and I can see that almost all of the BK2Ks I could find were smooth in the middle and don't have the W. However I did find this one with the W and the older futuristic plastics.

Mine did come with futuristic plastics originally, so maybe some older ones had the W door...

In either case, it's good to know it's at least the correct door. Thanks everyone!

I need one of these!

Where can I get one of these old coin doors? With the W sign in the middie of the coin entries?

Thanks in advance :)

I've never seen one with the "W" on it. Here's mine.
