Is on clearance!

Check your local store - the web inventory isn't right. The store in Plano, TX, still has 1 810c capacitance meter in stock but the web says 0.

I picked mine up there without leads as an open box item for 40% off the clearance price of $29.90: $17.93 is on the receipt :)

Not bad for an $85 meter. It does use an AC signal to test the caps like an ESR meter but isn't high frequency. Still a nice meter to show capacitance.

If you run across the 5MHz Sweep Function Generator, I want one!

w00t!

Picked up a 1GHz frequency counter (NIB) for $69.90 and a 4MHz Sweep/Frequency Generator for $49.90 (display unit) at the Fry's in Arlington.

They still had the display unit of the 1GHz frequency counter left on the shelf.

sigh
I went to the Austin as soon as you posted the first one... and came up with nothing.
No BKs anywhere.

I hate you people with Frys locally. We get Radio Shack which hasn't had a good component since their awesome visual logic probe some 5 years ago. "its too good, sell it to another company quick!"

I miss living in Texas. I had a Fry's within walking distance of my condo.

Now I live in Tennessee, and no one here has even heard of Fry's.

Or Taco Bueno (I miss that place more than anything.)

Really? I'm heading to Nashville in a couple weeks and thought I saw one there. Was thinking about bringing extra luggage just incase :)

The closest Fry's to us in in Milton, GA. just outside of Alpharetta.

I make it a point to visit there everytime I visit my sister.

Thanks for the heads up! I've been meaning to stop by the Indy Fry's since I saw this post. Today I picked up a BK Precision 815 ($28) and a BK Precision 388B ($35). Those were the two display units with red tags.

There's two Fry's in my town, both about 30 min away.

The Aztec Temple!

Glad you guys are getting some good bargains! Man... I wanted one of the 815's but they didn't have 'em here.

w00t!!!!

Went to the last Fry's here and picked up a Model 878A LCR meter for $4.90 :D In the box! :D

Looked up the MSRP: $299 (the 878B replacement model is a bit cheaper at $249 MSRP)

:D

Wasn't really wanting to stop by on the way home from the auction... but damn glad I did!
