I was going to toss my aunts old mitsubishi 30" tv, But I thought I would hit it with my rejuvinator and maybe play with my esr meter before I tossed it..

Problem is the guide says I need adapter 71. I think I have most up to about 40.

tube is m79jww61x = 6.3 71

what sucks is:
m79jww31x = 6.3 23
m79jww11x = 6.3 23

Just thought I would ask...

It looked like a 23.. Maybe slightly larger.

here is a link I found with a pic and I think schematics to one..

I looked through my BK setup chart and nothing looks close to it. Here's the breakdown...for the universal adapter.

Heater pin 11
heater pin 10
red G1 pin 6
red K pin 9
green K pin 7
blue K pin 12
green G2 pin 8
G3, G4, G5 pin 2

thanks ed for looking into that. I found someone who had 70 & 71 for sale, so I bought them.

The guy also has 29, 17, 12 that I don't have, but since I have not used anyting but 23 and 31, I don't see a need to get more. Unless you guys think those 3 are used in some video games or monitors I might run accross..

Of the oddball ones I sometimes need....I've never needed those three. Here's the oddball ones I've needed....

CR25 = Wells-Gardner 13K4700 series, early Nanoa monitors used in some Sega games, some Toei monitors.

CR24 = Hantarex MTC9110 series

CR6 = Wells-Gardner 19V1000 & 19V2000 series, Motorola M and XM series, Electrohome G05-802, Cinematronics black & white monitors

CR28 = Electrohome G07-FBO 13"

CR30 = Matsushita 19"

CR3= NEC 19" color monitor used in some Universal games

This list is not complete....just a note I happen to have by my computer:D
