For anyone who has a 467 you prob either have a broken hinge or broken latch (or both!) on your case.

I found a drop in replacement that is just about perfect.

https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=apache 2800 weatherproof case

There is a little less room on the side but both cords fit and then the pick-n-pluck foam will help hold whatever adapters you want to keep in the lid.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else needs a more secure way to keep their 467 stored.

I may measure and build a STL file to make standoffs for the bottom, there is 5/8" or so of a gap that I may want to close up on the bottom so its not just sitting on metal edge. or I will use rubber feet I had from when I replaced them on my Hakko Desolder Station. Will update here either way.

Oooh, awesome idea. Im gonna measure my sencore cr70 and see whats out there. On mine the handle is broken off (bought it that way used). It irks me.

my 467 has a million adapters that I never use. you think the power cord and neck harness + CR-23 and CR-31 adapters will fit?

100%
I was thinking the same thing..
For sure there is room for 2 adapter and the rest of the unit

Resurrecting this thread from the dead, for those looking for a replacement case for the B&K 467, there is a direct replacement, only (good) difference is it has two latches vs the one. It appears to come with foam that could be used to redo the adapter storage. It also has a flat spot on the top that you could transfer the original cases placard to. The bad is it runs $41- 80(ish).

Google Platt 407.

The cheapest (price + shipping) I could find is Zoro $65.17. They shipped same day. It will arrive Monday.

The platt 407 arrived. It will NOT work. The corners of the original case are square as opposed the Platts rounded corners. I am not willing to cut the 467.s face plate.

Another 467 in a new case. I used the one @SCUBA King recommended. Harbor Freight Apache 2800, $20 on sale. It's not perfect but very, very close. I chose to cut the two corners a little to fit the contour. There is enough room for the cords and probably 3 adapters. I have one adapter in there in this pic.

No space for manuals if you leave the foam in the top. But I suppose you could take that out and tape up a pouch.

I used two sided rug tape on the lip to hold it in. I turned it upside down and it stuck so I think that'll be good enough.

Thanks for the suggestion, ScubaKing! Just wish my store had orange in stock. Black is boring.
