Yup. I'm getting the ball rollin' on the sequel to the last arcade coffee-table book I put out.

Richie Knucklez is gonna call me in for his webcast show tonight to give a brief look at the next chapter in the easy readers.

Other Guests include:
Alan Mcneal, the creator of Berzerk
and

More details to come on the show, and after.

Love it! This is great news! And I hope bits, sticks, and buttons part 2 is just a tentative title. You should change it up a bit, maybe call it Tubes, cabs, and wires ....or something like that.

Thanks guys. Yeah, the title of the book will definetely be fresh. I'll go Hollywood and just end the title with: The Revenge, Reloaded, Revolutions, or Rechaged.
...just kidding.

The new book will in no way replace the first. In fact, I'm hoping the publisher that hops on to get the book made will revisit the first book so that we can get it dropped in half on price.

While I didn't want to steal the thunder Richie and I are trying to promote with book number 2, I will let the cat out of the bag here.....

There will be a total of three books. They should be kind of looked at as a series. The first book covered the basics of our hobby. Showcasing the most well known games and why they were so great. The second book will highlight the heavy hitter players, and programmers to our hobby, with plenty of game content as well. It will basically be the end-all Bible that you'd want to bring with you to events for signatures from top heads in the industry. It will follow the same layout and style. The third book will come full circle and return to the games, feeling very much like the first, but with a complete 'reversal' of content.

The trilogy of books will no doubt be compared to the Indiana Jones trilogy, where in the second one felt a little different (even though it was essentially the same). The three books should be looked at as THEEEE series of little readers that I humbly think most classic gamers will want on the shelf.
