Just received word that Billy Mitchell will NOT be attending the NW Pimball and Game Room Show as planned, due to "family obligations".

On behalf of the NW Pinball and Game Room Show, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause anyone planning to attend this years Show.

Walter Day called us to inform us of this bad news, and did not have any further details.

Public schools really are failing us...everybody should know that pulling out early doesn't help to avoid "family obligations."

Sorry, I know it had already been said, but its just too good to pass up...

Random thoughts:

1. Having kids can and should take precedent over other things, especially when...

2. Billy Mitchell is still overall the best classic arcade gamer of our time, but he is not the best DK player anymore. That coupled with the random luck required to post a high score means that he would probably not win. A second failure in a row to place high or win would chip away at this.

3. The event is way cool but won't likely make anybody rich. Especially if you don't win.

From this point of view, he doesn't have much to gain and has more to lose. I can see why he'd pass.

Wow, surprised nobody posted this famous quote yet...

"F@ck you Billy Mitchell... F@ck you!!! - S. Sanders

:)

The 'legend' of Billy Mitchell, slowing unraveling one event at a time.

I'd have to argue that Dwayne Richards is the best overall classic arcade player. Just my opinion.

billy is a great player but he only has a couple titles he was known for.

I for one am struggling to understand how this is "bad news."

Who cares?

LOL

Last night while playing Poker with Steve Weibe, I asked him... "Guess who's not coming to the show?". He smiled and immediately said... "Billy".

If the Douche Mullet fits...
