Tell me what it's all worth together and or separate as I am possibly about to embark on a big selloff soon.

Asteroids- Very nice cab, no damage, new short overlay from Wiz as the original silkscreened one was to worn to bring back to life, has the Braze high score kit installed, monitor is sharp and has very small amount of Omega Race burn not noticeable during gameplay.

Asteroids Deluxe- All original, works great, side art is there but not what I'd call in great condition, a previous owner decided to clear tape the artwork to keep it in place, all in all though a solid piece.

Space Invaders (Midway) - very nice cab, has Willis overlay but it's in fantastic shape, brand new buttons, has no damage to the cab whatsoever, has the Braze S.I. multigame kit installed.

Tempest- Another all original in great shape, repro spinner knob but works and looks great, plays great, has a slight "walling" issue on the right side of the monitor when it zooms between levels, can get the shakes when the monitor harness is moved around but I have gotten it to stop with moving it, a correctable issue I am told, two small phosphur burn spots at the center but not terrible.

Pole Position- Yes an actual working Pole Position! The original cab I had was in poor condition but thanks to a donation from a fellow KLOV'r (herbertsmart)it's in great shape and now has a fan (thanks to the new cab), the monitor is a G07 and it has some issues with curl and rolling horizontally, stops rolling after being on ten minutes..., issue that could easily be straightened out by someone with monitor skills better than I.

Punch-Out- It's working but does need some monitor tlc on both monitors, top monitor has a little bit of wave but not terrible, bottom monitor has some color issue as I can't quite get it perfect also having trouble with the size of it horizontally, missing the "knockout" button but all the rest is there and in decent condition, cab has new side art but could use more touch up on the sides in spots, overall a great cab though and not very far from being an excellent cab.

And that is about all of it at the moment; I wouldn't mind selling them as a whole group and will listen to any offers that can accommodate such.
I will take and post pictures when this all is officially up for sale but at this time just looking for a ballpark range for them. Shipping will only be possible if you arrange all aspects of it, I don't currently have the time to deal with it other than opening my garage door and showing the shipper the game to pick up. My VAPS has them listed for sale as well.

Thanks.

:)

My 'off the cuff' estimates. I'm not an expert, but I have been watching the for sale community, auctions, CL and talking to many folks in the hobby for a while now.

Take it or leave it :)

You realize of course, you will make more cash by selling them seperately versus together. The name of the game on bulk purchases is 'cheap'. Folks no they can haggle you down more. Also, not everyone is going to want certain games in the lot and that'll mean they gotta take the time to resell it back off.

The good thing is you have classics here, no filler junk.

All that being said, if you are looking for honest offers that will be made to buy everything, don't be insulted when you receive offers of:
"hey, I'll give you $1500 for everything. Cash money. Take it or leave it."

If you want my opinion on the items listed separatley:
1. $400
2. $300
3. $300
4. $700
5. $300
6. $500

All for my area^
alot more money if you sell individually.

EDIT: wow. me and smalltownguy are very close.

Bummer you have to get rid of them. Didn't you just buy that Punch-Out?

Thank you ^ just what I was looking for help on.:)

You are correct sir, I do realize separate would be best to maximize the prices, I can't say an offer for all wouldn't be tempting if it were appealing enough so I figured I'd ask for both way's to make it interesting.
Thanks for your help.:)

Bummer you have to get rid of them. Didn't you just buy that Punch-Out?

No not at all, I do not have to get rid of them for any specific reason, just thought I might want step back from the hobbly and go in a different direction...potentially....I did just get the PO....and to anyone who thinks this is a FS thread it is not, just a tell me what it's worth thread .:)

You're way low on the Tempest. The monitor alone (even with issues) is worth that...

Not with deflection issues and phosphor burn. The only way I'd feel comfortable buying a used vector monitor is if its been serviced by someone here that I trust. Otherwise I don't place any more value on them than a raster for 2 reasons:

1. I can't work on them.
2. They're an expensive PITA to fix.

Plus, I have a local source for a tube if needed, so THAT part is not a concern to me. It's the boards I'm afraid of.

If the monitor was an AMP, then maybe that would add to the price a bit.

Funny now gozer prices the PP $200 < than me. I guess I like cockpits, eh?

I assumed it was an upright. I'd price the working cockpit at around $500.

It's funny too. I value a working cockpit much higher than a working upright. But I value a non-working upright much more than a non-working cockpit.

Not to pry, but I'm curious why you'd sell the Punch Out so quickly? I'd watched this one for quite a while; I believe it was Kung Fu Master's from here? It seemed to have so many issues with the monitors and PS, and the harness had been redone, and I think the cab had been modified so the marquee area was a custom size?

I kept seeing the Ebay auctions change price every few days between $500 and $1K.

I was interested, but the issues scared me away.

Good luck with the sale if you go for it.

I really think that someone should make a new semi official combined price guide with examples and zipcodes. It would really cut down on all of these threads. I do know that guys here really like to play the "price is right" game here however... maybe it'll never stop.

Game - small description example of what it is - zipcode - price range.

You have all these listed as for sale on your VAPS listing so it seems to me that they are for sale...are we missing something?

I had an Atari Footbal game listed in my VAPS as for sale for almost two years....I never received 1 inquiry for it.........
If I listed them all on fire in VAPS do you think anyone would know??? :p

I don't put much stock in VAPS as a selling platform.

You seem to have the classic misconceptions about these monitors.
Where are you finding 100 degree tubes that work with a 6100 monitor?
They are actually cheap and pretty easy to fix.
Non working I would think just the monitor in a tempest is around 200-250.
Working 350-500.
A nice working Tempest with no major issues should easily get 500-650.

Not prying at all and a very good question, hope my answer helps some.

I made a trade with Tim for the Punch-Out and not in the sense that I needed the Punch-Out but it did help me to downsize on some of the projects and a couple of working cabs, it was not a 1 for 1 deal more of a trade for multiples with cash to make up the difference.
The Punch-Out had no power supply issues, it did have a low B+ issue causing the monitors to shut down after running 30 seconds, I readjusted them as best I could with my limited skills and they now do not shut down. The monitors do need more attention but for most in this crowd it would be an easy undertaking. I also believe that it has the wrong upper marquee bracket on it so it does not hold the marquee in place as it should hence the questions about the cab being modified, in my opinion it has not been modified.
I think this is a working project and would be desirable to almost any classic collector as I do not see them pop up all the time like the Pac Mans and what not. I don't expect some crazy price for a cab that will need more tlc, I think I also can be of service in getting this to a collector who will give it the treatment it deserves.

I It would really cut down on all of these threads. I do know that guys here really like to play the "price is right" game here however... maybe it'll never stop.

Again hence my topic, I thought this fit perfectly in the "General Arcade Discussion" section of the forum, I apologize for the inconvenience, I guess without these topics there would be more room to discuss the more important things in the hobby like....

I was just making an observation. If you are selling, fine. If not, that's fine too.

BTW, plenty of people look at VAPS for games for sale. Under KLOV rules you are only supposed to inquire about a person's listed game in VAPS if it is listed as "for sale".

I totally understand, I really just wanted and assessment from the people here who may buy and sell quite a bit more than I do, I know there is Exidy's guide on pricing but really no other definitive guide on them, figure it couldn't hurt to see generally where I would be standing if I did sell them.

I think you'll be very lucky if you get $400 for the Pole Position... there was a guy near me (central CA) that had a PP and a PP II (both uprights) for sale, cabs were in great shape, both worked although they did have some graphics issues. They were on craigslist for a month or two, finally sold both for $150. There is currently a fairly clean upright PP that is complete on craigslist for $50. Just no love for PP in California...
