I have a Big Buck Hunter Call Of The Wild tha will not register any shots on the screen from the gun, the color on the screen looks very red, could that be the cause of the light gun not registering? If so, how can I resolve the red issue?

Thanks

there is not enough info to go on.

more info please.

we need a pic of the chassis and what if anything has been done to it to go any further.

could be the chassis, tube. both or other things.

Peace

Run the self-test and calibration, and see if you can get the gun to calibrate to the screen. It could be your IO board is bad, or you have a bad connector. The calibration is your first option.

If it won't calibrate, I'd suspect the IO board first. The troubleshooting should be in the manual.

The IO board usually gets 5 volt power - make sure it isn't disconnected.

The red screen is an issue that could be as simple as a loose wire or bad solder joint or it could be the monitors Red Transistors or IC chip.

But as for your gun not shooting it's usually a screen brightness issue. But first fix the monitor color then you'll be able to get a decent screen to test and turn up the brightness if needed.

Start simple and dig in.
