hey all i need some advice, the customer i have been trying to fix the big buck hunter safari deluxe for is asking how much its worth if everything worked? currently it either needs its old screen fixed as its causing a breaker to trip when it turns on and i have narrowed the issue to the screen and the guns either need a full replacement or the cameras replaced, so what do y'all think it would be worth after all of those issues were fixed?

In my area, they usually sell for around $1500 when complete and working. Replacing the guns and monitor would probably cost you around that.

Yes, that's the one. The guns are over $600 each for it. I have one and I would happily take $1500 for it. There has been one nearby on marketplace for months for $1500. It is a great game, but used Big Bucks (deluxe or standard) don't have a lot of value. Maybe they are worth more elsewhere, but around here (Eastern PA) $1500 is all they bring. There are a lot of Big Bucks on the market.

Yep, sadly that's the case.

They were a money maker on my route 13 years ago, and I enjoyed "troubleshooting" them (literally) on occasion. They just don't hold value.

I'd bet on the CRT before I'd bet on the guns. You should be able to disconnect each device one at a time to find the problem.

I'd still bet on the LCD then. The inverters for the light sources can fault to ground.

Disconnect power to the LCD and power it up. Coin it - if you hear it play blind, you found your problem.

i already mentioned that in my original post, it has a broken cheap tv in it for now

it plaays but needs sensors in the guns also addressed in the og post
Did you look down the gun barrels? I've found:
1. Gum
2. Crud
3. Stuff

stuck in the gun barrels. I had to use ice, solvent and a pick to remove it. Clean the lens and it worked.
