if you call raw thrills they will walk you through the set up.

i called and the guy said it might be caused from this PC being a 745 optiplex not a 740.

so i might have to find a 740 optiplex to try hopefully find a cheap one as i dont like buying stuff just to trouble shoot.....

im almost certain the one i got workign and sold already was also a 745 but not 100% ugh whos close that has a BBH pro

I have a couple 740's. I can sell u one for $40 plus ship. The 740 works w buck hunter pro series and fast and furious drift and maybe couple others.

Buck wont run on any Intel platform. HAS to be AMD.

You could build an AMD rig but it would have to be some pretty old parts (FX series CPU) with an nVidia southbridge.

Grab one of those 740's from the guy in this thread and you should be all set.

He stopped responding to me so just going the eBay route.
Thanks for the AMD info

Bought a Dell Optiplex 740. Everything installs ok from the recovery dvd, but on restart, it just stays stuck on the loading screen.

I notice the number lock on the keyboard goes off and the ~ key does nothing.

After a while the screen just goes to black.

Is the computer in the cabinet connected to everything or just on a work bench?

In the cabinet. Everything is hooked up, I/O board is powered up, dongle is plugged in.

Called Betson and the guy came to the conclusion that my recovery DVD was not new enough for a Dell PC. I have version 1.15 and he said I need at least version 1.25.

I just bought the 1.25 version, so I guess I'll see what that does.

Thats worth a shot.

Expected a little more than a burned DVD with a label slapped on it for $25.31 from manufacturer.

On the positive side, this worked perfect. My Dell Optiplex 740 Minitower is working fine in the cabinet. So if you are replacing with a Dell PC, you need version 1.25.

It is a bummer since you used to be able to download the images
for $5.
