Hey KLOV family!
I am happy to share with you my most recent acquisition and what I consider my holy grail... SSFIIT in a dedicated magnificent pristine hard as hell to get my hands on Big Blue! Had to travel through 4 states and a have a strategic plan to make this epic game and machine a dream come true! Believe it or not the machine only has 115 hours on it! Yes still pinching myself. Now onto my very minimal restoration process of which I have been able to read and study from the various posts over the years right here on KLOV. So before I go any further I would like to give a huge shout out to Ryu21, Meph, Jdurg, arcadeaction, and ninedayfall75. There are so many more of you that have helped me to understand as well as provide this community with your own creations and builds, so I thank you for your wisdom and hard work!! Below are a few pics of my Big Blue Baby. Everything on this machine is the original direct from the manufacturer. Pretty amazed at how in tact and nice it still is!!

Okay getting to be a dissertation but here is what I am in search of:

1. NOS Capcom yellow side decals

2. CPO with decal graphics (joystick and buttons included) printed on

Thanks for the pic RYU21

3. Pre cut lexan CPO cover (in talks with a guy on eBay)

I do not have the template for my CP and was wondering if anyone had this? Thanks for your time and resources! Any help would be appreciated!

FYI: Didn't get a chance to ask but the SSF2T battery has not been changed... So I would like to swap out the suicide battery asap. Any help or pointing me in the right direction would be great.

Wow, that is in awesome condition! Did it come out of a home?

Grats! It's beautiful! I'm dying to find those CP corner brackets! Can't find info anywhere.

It did come out of a home. Even better yet the woman I bought it from was a graphic designer for Capcom and was gifted this Big Blue when she left. It had been stored in her house for years. I literally could not even write a better story! The inside is immaculate. As if I bought it yesterday and brought it home! Here's to patience, persistence, and execution!

That looks awesome! Wow. Congratulations.

With the battery, don't sweat it too much yet. The method that Capcom used to use for reloading the keys has been discovered, so even if the battery were to die, you'll very soon be able to just re-upload keys. So you can keep your board encrypted and original, or you can remove the suicide battery and use decrypted ROMS. It's all really up to you as to whether or not you want completely and fully original with suicide battery, or decrypted without no battery and no suicide.

Either way, you've got yourself a great cab there!

For those who are interested in purchasing a Lexan CP cover, I have sent an outline template to a guy on EBay (702MKfixer) that is in the process of cutting out a Big Blue Gen 2 CP Lexan cover.

All my interactions with him have been great and he has tons of great reviews

Man that cabinet is in beautiful shape, those are huge cabs and totally worth it especially if its your holy grail!

It's by far my most prized position! I literally have been on the look out for both a big blue and SSF2T over 3 hrs. It's been well worth the wait!!
