Hey all, well I finally jumped on this very cool old school game. It had been up for sale for a bit now and I just had to save it. The seller also gave me an extra black and white monitor for an extra bonus. I worked it out with the local arcade, so he bought it from me for the same price it was listed. Now It is a once again playable arcade game for the masses to have fun with...Enjoy.

Great get! The cab looks to be in real nice shape. It's refreshing to see b/w games get some love after years of them being overlooked by the collecting community in general. Enjoy the BiPlane!

That's a great machine and has some very interesting history behind it. Its actually a game built from plans and schematics stolen by a couple of former Atari employee's who took Atari's Jetfighter and started their own company called Fun Games. Just as quickly as the company started, it was sued and put out of business...

Thanks guys for all the good feedback, yep its a fun game. I still love the simple consept old black and white games. Still loads of fun after all these years. It the arcade here he has a tank, stunt cycle, SMAI, night driver, and the b&W speed bug maybe (cant remember that name.) Anyway its in its right place and gald to have saved it.

That's pretty nuts! Lol
Stole arcade plans, tried to knock it off and sued out of existence. There you go Hollywood. Well maybe more of one off 2 hour TV movie. Maybe a web series. Lol

Seriously though that is nuts. Great story behind this game. Thanks for sharing. :)

Did you buy it from this guy?

His seems to have some graphics issues, including patterns of explosions going across the top of the screen and along the right edge. One of your photos shows the same pattern across the top:
