WTF!!!

----------

Dear ___,

Ram Controls is having a One Year Anniversary Sale!!!

A one year anniversary sale you ask? I thought the company has been around for years.

While Ram Controls has been producing reproduction arcade parts for many years, new management took over the company operations on March 15th, 2011. Since that time we have processed hundreds of orders from new and returning customers and have worked diligently to remedy any issues left over from the previous ownership. This year looks even better. We have started production on several new products and hope to release them soon. As a celebration of our one year anniversary we are offering a 20% discount off any order of $25 or more from now until March 15th, 2012.

If you have been waiting for a good time to stock up on parts for your classic arcade games, the time is now!

Use coupon code: YOURAMORON

Remember this sale ends March 15th, 2012 so act now!

The fine print:
This sales is for new orders only. Existing store credit is already discounted and cannot be used for this promotion. Shipping charges are extra and are not discounted. This promotion ends on March 15th, 2012. Email us at [email protected] if you have any other questions.

If you have ordered any products and controllers from years past and have not received them, please contact us at [email protected] We want to take care of you!!!

If you received this email in error or wish to be removed from this list please email us at [email protected] and we will remove you from any future mailings.

Strange... I got this version sent to me...

Dear ___,

Scam Controls is having a One Year Anniversary Sale!!!

A one year anniversary sale you ask? I thought the company has been scamming for years.

While Scam Controls has been bending over the arcade community for many years, new management took over the company operations on March 15th, 2011. Since that time we have screwed hundreds of people both new and returning suckers and have worked diligently to continue to ream the asses left over from the previous ownership. This year looks even better. We have started new "operations" on several new bogus products and hope to release them soon (wink-wink). As a celebration of our one year anniversary we are offering a 20% discount off any order of $25 or more from now until March 15th, 2012.

If you have been waiting for a good time to get bent over and anally abused, the time is now!

Use coupon code: BENDMEOVERPLEASE

Remember this sale ends March 15th, 2012 so act now!

The fine print:
This sales is for new orders only. Existing store credit was the scam we pulled before. We can't accept that bogus shit and can not be used for this promotion. Shipping charges are extra and are not discounted (again, we used the FREE shipping scam in the past and won't be doing so this time). This promotion ends on March 15th, 2012. Email us at [email protected] if you have any other questions.

If you have ordered any products and controllers from years past and have not received them, please contact us at [email protected] . We want to "take care of you"!!! (wink-wink)

If you received this email in error or wish to be removed from this list please email us at [email protected] and we will remove you from any future mailings.

Guys, If i was a betting man id say this is a pitch from Chuck Fitch. Its nothing to do with RC or any anti-RC customer. Its an obvious invitation to lure you into an email war or something he may be doing to collect information to use against you. Dont respond to it !

Wrong. It has nothing to do with Chuck. Jim has a "sucker list" of past customers that he tries to lure back in. Look at the front page of the Ram website. The sale is listed right there.

I disagree... Obviously A LOT of people got screwed over from RC. Why would they take the time to discredit themselves in a email to target only two people ? Unless i see the evidence of emails like this being sent to everyone who had a bad transaction with RC then i will continue to believe this is someone singleling out two klov members at the expence of RC's past problems. I just dont think RC would take the time to do that and i dont think they want to make things right in the first place thus they would not bother to go to petty email attacks which is something we ALL know Chuck does.

Considering the text of the email matches the text on the RAM CONTROLS website... I'd have to say that you can disagree as much as you want, but the facts are...well... the facts.

:)

As a former customer (2 years ago), I received the same e-mail. I've had no contact or comments regarding them other than the purchase of my 720 parts several years ago...for whatever that's worth.

I was never a customer. Anus Judd added me to the scamming list when I keyed in all the Atari flyer info way back when we were all ripe for the pickin.

I got the email as well FWIW.

Guessing everyone who has bought stuff that he doesn't owe shit to probably did.

Strange, I did not get the e-mail........but the cocksucker has had my original 2 1/4" Atari trak-ball (as used on Missile Command mini's and cocktail tables) for close to three years:mad:.

contact Jim. he contacted me in the last few days regarding my 3 NOS tempest spinner knobs, and NOS 720 upper housing. If he can't find them, he is going to refund me what i paid for them.

I got the email too. Never was a customer either, but I did manage to get 2 free white Centipede trackballs from them many years ago when they were giving away free crap.

I hope you get your parts / money.

Quite the coincidence that a couple of guys start getting long overdue stuff at the exact same time that RAM send out the email. Classic stuff. Send some people some parts. Those people post on KLOV about it. Some people think its now safe to do business. And the scam keeps running.

I have to wonder how many people order from RAM these days and get ripped off but are too embarrassed to post about it. A fair few I'd have thought.

i am just trying to get back loaned parts, i didn't buy a thing :D Just recovering my own property.
