Yes. Minwax makes some...you can find it at Home Depot near the wood stains. Runs about $12 a can and I just paint it on with a brush, but make sure it's a brush you don't care about because it's usually trashed after.

While that would work, if your woodworking skills are decent and you have access to a tablesaw with a good fence that cut a precise piece square, with the mitered edges, it could be a lot less work to replace the top piece.

I was thinking that same thing, I dont have a tablesaw but Im decent with a Miter Saw, a router, and a Circular Saw. It doesn't look like the board wants to come out easily, I see it has some nails in it, did the factory use any glue?
I think I will try to clean it up and use some of that wood hadener first some to see how it works, if it dont look good I will rip it apart and replace it.
