When I only had one pin, the cord thing didn't really phase me because the pin was up against the wall and the cord was pretty well hidden.

I am now up to pin 2, sitting next to pin 1, and the cords underneath and down the back of the machine look like total crap. The machine's back is near you when you enter the garcade so I would like some ideas on how to tidy it up.

Thanks!

install a hook in the back of the cabinet and hang the wire a bit higher ?
or make your gameroom more dark so you can't see anything :)

Personally I'm considering installing a low profile retractable cord reel of some sort.

Just push the extra cord into the cabinet a little, and then use the legs to help hide the rest. You could probably tape it to the leg so that very little can actually be seen.

Personally, it doesn't bother me one bit, but maybe my set up isn't as noticeable. If it did bother me, I'd just loop up some of the extra cord and zip tie it near the back of the cabinet so that the only small stretch of cord showing is from the game straight to the wall.

Just paint your wall behind your pins BLACK :)

If it's a cord running along the bottom of a wall, you can get hiders from Lowe's or Home Depot. It's basically like a piece of trim, but hollow so the cord fits inside it.

with a hole saw, drill a hole in the wall behind the pin and plug into a receptical installed behind the wall

What if the wall behind the pins is an exterior wall ?

Do you run the cord over to your neighbors house or tap into the yard light ?

I normally see people either mount a surge protector high enough up the wall so that it is behind the body of the pinball - or hook it to something on the wall to keep it up out of view with only the one cord coming down to the outlet - then either tuck the excess cord inside the pinball or (if the pinball doesn't have that option) roll it up and use cable wraps/ties to hold it up out of view. Then plug them all into the surge protector and you're good to go...
