Best way to fabricate control panels?

taco is correct, it just makes a sharp bend, but if that is all your looking for then it will work. i didn't read the description, make sure it handles 24 or so inch wide material, since most cp's are around 23" and bolt that brake down good to a non moving surface.

I apologize, but I can't resist.

bending unit #22 would probably work great for a little while, and then it would steal your liquor and valuables. the other problem is it won't be available for almost 1000 years.

CPs

That bender will not come close to bending the metal thick enough for a control panel. Like said before there may be a problem with a radius bend instead of a sharp bend. Pacs, Galaga, Track and field and stuff like that you dont have to worry about the radius but games like Paperboy and Gyruss this is a big consideration. I have made several control panels in the past and i have the ability to make rounded bends. What kind of Cp do you want to make? Here is a T&F cp for an example.

Can you guys recommend a bender that'll work well for setting radius, etc? Looking for something that is good enough for control panels without spending tons of money.

Not a do it yourself solution but..........
Most school systems have a tech school, most of them have a welding/sheet metal class.
They will make panels for next to nothing, just tell the teacher what you need and they will usually whip you one up while you wait.
