The marquee on my Ms Pac number 2 has some 'scunge' on it that I'd like to clean off if at all possible. Is just a damp microfiber towel, lightly rubbed on the decal, the way to go?

As long as there's no flaking, I use Novus 2.

Interesting- what made you choose to use that? I would use it on the clear front of the plexi, but never would have thought of it as a possibility for the inside. My guess would have been that it would be too harsh for the graphic. But hey, that's why I posted this thread ;)

Novus 2 is pretty mild. No harsh solvents. I use it to clean and polish a lot of painted surfaces (which are often acrylic-based anyway). I also use it with a dremel polish wheel on metals too. Give that a try on PCB edge connectors, and remove any remaining residue with alcohol. Then I follow that up with a shot of electronics contact cleaner (which has some things in it to impede oxidation). They look brand new (unless some schmuck has taken sandpaper to them at some point).

I wanted to share that I got to do this last weekend, and everything yucky that was on the inner side of the marquee came off successfully. She looks brand new.

I tried to get pics of the before and after, but my stupid camera's flash kept going off and hiding the grime appearance from the photos. :(

Thanks Matt!
