Best version of Street Fighter II, and price check?

2 is the better CvS game (sorry Tighe). It is team based, but the team management isn't in real time/being done on the fly like Marvel. Instead of rounds, you're essentially widdling down the opponent's team one person at a time (like King of Fighters if you've played that).

If Marvel is too crazy, try the Darkstalkers series. It has the same simplified combo system and some speed/flash, but the action isn't as spastic and a lot easier to follow. If you're a very visual person or even an artist, you might dig it just for being Capcom's strongest total art direction on the CPS-2 (if not ever). You can't miss with any of the titles in the series, but Vampire Savior is the title prefered in the competitive scene...if you care about that.

LOL don't apologize, it is just that he would need a GD-rom to play CvS2. And CvS1 is term based too. I was just suggesting games that he could easily play in his MvC2 cabinet.

I would go with SNK2 just because it's a 6 button game. For whatever reason...those missing 2 buttons throw me off.

The monitor could use some love, besides that she's running great.

At long last...Super Turbo has arrived!

Love, love, love me some Darkstalkers. Very underrated series that really needs another game in the franchise. As far as best SF game,I love them all....but then again I'm a big time Street Fighter fan. Graphics-wise I'm partial to the Alpha series. The characters look so much better, especially Sagat. He looks so awkward in the original series, but looks like a total badass in the Alpha series.
