Best thing to put under games on carpet so they slide out?

Looking for help here, I was thinking just wood cut to the size of the game so they would be easy to slide out when I need to get to the PCB or something, but there's got to be a better way...

Anyone have a better solution for what I can use to put under my Mortal Kombat / Donkey kong collection that sits on the carpet so they slide out easy? Since they are against the wall it's tough to get leverage and I'd like to be able to get to the PCB's if needed..

Thanks in advance!

Magic Sliders

+2

I take the feet and mounts off completely, and put 4 of the big sliders under them. Even games like 720 are easy to move on carpet then.
720 might have 6 under it, but ROTJ has 4 as do all my other games, and they all move easily. What i really like is once you get it positioned, they still sink in the carpet just enough that when you push the game back to its original position, it drops right back in the same spot.

I used magic sliders at my apartment and they were awesome. The basement in my new house has slightly thicker carpet though and they don't really work worth shit anymore. Unfortunate, I had them under 6 games.

use 9 X 9 self-stick tile (like bathroom or kitchen tile, the really cheap stuff) on the entire bottom of your machine (You'll have to take the legs off or make a false bottom).

That's what I use and it works great!!
