Best technical advise I have heard since I started this hobby comes from Modessitt

Yesterday Modessitt came to help me with my Star Wars monitor Green lines all over the place. I had just recapped it so I knew it was not that. He came to my house and hit it with a Rejuvenator. After that lighting show in the neck everything looked great. He left and went home I turned off my games and did some other things I needed to do. Later I turned my games on only to find my Star Wars monitor very jumpy. I call him and told him what it was doing and this is the advice I got. I recommended to everyone who is frustrated with a game. His advice was "SMACK IT" So I smacked the side of the game and it quit. So to save everyone some money the first thing you should do when your games acts up is "SMACK IT". It worked for me. Thanks Modessitt 

I always thought working on these games would be harder that that

when "SMACKING" dont work, "KICK" it. when that dont work, throw it off the roof!!

just kidding, whacking it has actually worked for me before even if temporary.

That was a valuable well kept secret he just shared, i hope he billed you for it.

I did get a coffee table out of it. :)

And before someone starts ranting about how this is not "sound repair advice", I did tell him that if smacking it causes the problem to go away, then he had a loose connection to find. He opened it back up and found the neckboard connector loose. Reconnecting it fixed the issue permanently...

hehe i have anoutrun i have to "rock" every once in awhile. every time i pull it out of the row to fix it it stops acting up, so untill rocking stops fixing it, fuck it lol
