I know NAVL gets mentioned a lot, but I have used them before and the games weren't wrapped very well. They were supposed be blanket wrapped but only had that plastic stretch wrap on them.

Any other shippers you guys can recommend that take care of wrapping and shipping?

Is this someone you have used previously, or just popping out the suggestion because they specialize in coin op equipment?

I haven't shipped with him, but I know the guy and he is a really stand-up, plus know several people who have used him and praised it highly.

Based on the information on that website, he's a referral service to Freightwire.com who then contracts the actual shipping to someone else. That wouldn't guarantee the same experience from one shipment to the next.

I don't mean to crap on anyone, just putting that out there.

CoinopShippers.com: "We have a single company manage pickup, transportation, and delivery."
Policy: "CoinOpShippers.com is an agent and partner with FreightWire. After we have secured your shipping quote, FreightWire will handle the finalization of your shipping services, which include: payment processing, freight pickup scheduling, freight drop off scheduling, and handling insurance claims."

Freightwire.com: "Due to our extensive partnership network we are able to get competitive rates on FTL shipping."

Does Freightwire blanket wrap like NAVL does, or is it all up to the customer to take care of that?

Coinioshippers doesn't wrap the games or palletize for you.

Here's their policy for:

Shipping Arcade Machines

For arcade game shipping, we do require that the machine be on a pallet. If your game does not fit on a standard pallet (48" x 40"), you can tie more than one pallet together and we'll take the machine that way. We require pallets because they provide a more stable and safer way to transport the arcade machine.

If you are preparing an arcade machine for shipping, we suggest that you wrap the machine in cardboard and mobile wrap before securing it to a pallet with either ratchet straps or metal banding. It's important to center the machine on the pallet, wrap it well, and secure it to the pallet to ensure that your machine arrives without damage.

If you need a quote for arcade shipping, please call us at 801.200.3596 or fill out one of our quote request forms.

The Beltman group (NAVA) is the only one who does blanket wrap/pick-up.

It needs to be specified.

I have dealt with Coinop Shippers and shipped a few things with them...last time I spoke to Jeff the price was doubled for everything and I was recommended to switch for that game (just a Qix).

I am now using Echo but it also has to be on a pallet.

I just used Jeff with coinopshippers for my star wars cockpit 450 from ID to IA. Worked when delivered and no issues
