I am trying to find 2 rolls of the 14G stuff in purple and orange for Atari power supply wires. I have checked online but keep coming up with copper clad aluminum or foreign sellers who seem a bit vague and/or shady. Can someone let me know of a good place to get multi-color insulated stranded copper wire? Thanks!

Find a specific wire standard that matches what you want. Then search for cable by the standard. Example, I've been using UL-1007 18AWG for my power cables. That standard means it's a specific number of copper strands of a minimum diameter, and a 300V rated insulation.

Ask an electrician. In California I can get any gauge any color from Essco Wholesale Electrical. Not open to the public but they sell to electrical contractors. Must be something like that in Minn?
