IIRC mine came from Australia of all places. It came with 19XX. I absolutely love this shmup. Played it to death on the Dreamcast then when I got the CPS-2 version and was forced to play with 1-button...man...the game design becomes even more impressive at that point.

You can rotate the monitor in those dynamo cabs faster than you can change the pcb. I'd say you're pretty much open to just about any vertical game you like too.

I want to pick up 2 hs-1 cabinets. I love my hs-5 but after I crammed a 27" VGA monitor in it for my Naomi I can't rotate it anymore.
Yep, I keep one for vertical, and one for horizontal. It's nice to be able to drop in pretty much any pcb I want.

Yeah, that was the plan until I ran out of room and then got a Q*bert. I'm still trying to redesign the room to fit the Q.
Oh, and I changed it back to horizontal orientation b/c I found a Trog board. That's a phenomenal one-button game! Perfect for my original setup.
