Hi guys. I just bought a multicade with a 48 in 1 pcb in a pac man housing. I would like to have as many games as possible, so my question is, where can I find the best pcb with the highest # of games. Sorry if I sound like a complete newbie (I am!). Thanks in advance,

Kurt

I'm enjoying the 2477 in 1 I got from paradise arcade. It may be a good place to start. :)

Although that would probably take a lot of rewiring to work on a pacman arcade.

I still think the Arcade Shop multigame is one of the best that was made . The sounds and menu are much better then the 48 and 60 in 1. It costs more but I think the extra dollars are worth it if you are keeping it for yourself. I know Paradise Arcade sells the clones.

Thanks guys. I appreciate your info!

I notice alot of these xxxx n 1 cards are mostly games that are after 1985. Can anyone please tell me which card carries the most classic videogames from pre-85 or so? I have a vertical acreen, btw. Thx so much,

Kurt

60/1 pcb.
The 48 that you have is about the same though, a few fast versions of the Pacs and a couple more games.

The Arcadeshop board is HANDS-DOWN the BEST for what you are looking for. It's more expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you were to "upgrade" from your current board to a 60-in-1 (for example) you would find that in addition to you ship's "death" explosion sound being totally wrong (a bunch of static noise) in Galaxian that your shot/fire sound effect would then be TOTALLY MISSING in the new board. This kind of stuff is common on the "cheap" in-1 boards (ALL of them, including the supposedly "better" ones that people call "A" quality boards).

I don't think that the people in China who make these things are familiar with the original games. Otherwise, I don't think that the would release them like that. The old "Arcadeshop" board is so accurate that you probably won't be able to tell that you are not playing the original board set. Another BIG difference that you NEVER see anyone bring up is the fact that the colors are MUCH more vibrant looking on the Arcadeshop board (I have NO IDEA if this holds true for the Chinese bootleg of the Arcadeshop board) and on the in-1 family of boards (39-in-1, 60-in-1) the colors look kind of "washed out" and more dim in comparison in my personal experience.

Thanks again, man! I was just in Az, btw. Cool place :)

Cool???
Fricken' 122 in my car yesterday! Ha!
It's a nice place though, as long as the AC is working.

With all these multi questions, what are you trying to do? Just replace the exisisting 48n1 with something different?

My .02 is to leave well enough alone, unless you just want to see what options are out there. The 48 is just as good as any others out there. Look up the list comparing the 48 and 60. Not much difference. As for the horizontal multis, there is a huge difference with the type of games and pcbs out there.

Thank you, Lee. Should I go for the 60 pcb I will look into your recommendation. I appreciate your response.

K- it seems that theres not much diff between the 48 and 60. I thought there would be more classic games available. I'd like to do a horizontal multi, but there are not enough games it seems! Thank u again, Kraj..
