Those five games were FREEBIES. Only one Omega Race was damaged beyond repair(cabinet was falling apart from moisture damage).

That was a good day. :)

Best CL deal for me was...

Non-working but complete Ms Pacman
Non-working but complete Galaga
Non-working but complete Street Fighter 2

For $100 total.

I also got a Lethal Enforcers II working for $50. I am sure there are others too that I can't recall off hand.

Best deal ever wasn't from Craigslist, but from word of mouth and was a Journey upright for free.

My HUO Computer Space for $35.

Ok, but for real? Probably my $100 working Vs. SMB. Or my $250 very nice shape DK. Both Nintys, how bout that...

So far I have only bought one game off of Craigslist, a Tetris inside of an Arabian cabinet for $100. They really messed the cabinet up, drawing with a permanent marker on the control panel. At the moment I just have it sitting in my garage, not sure if I should keep it or not.

Best deal ever was a few years ago picked up 24 games for $500... Including dedicated Killer Instinct 1 and 2, Virtua Cop 2, and many more...

The Pac-Man machine I just bought (the one and only so far) was $100 on Craigslist. It is non-working; it needs a new monitor and speaker to actually get going. However, nothing nearly as good as some of the finds here!

Best CL deal...

1000 Mile Rally in 8.5/10 or better condition... FREE.

Best ebay deal...

14 classic cabs (9 working 5 not) - $860...

My last deal was the best. There was an ad for a "Super Nintendo Arcade Machine, nothing happens when plugged in"

Turns out it was a Nintendo Red Tent (serial number 00171). Got it for cheap since it didn't work. Went home, plugged it in and flipped the switch to on and it worked! Guess they didn't see the power switch when they tested it. :D

My best deal was a Dynamo coin-operated Air Hockey. $150, working all the way, delivered for free.

Resurrecting an old thread I know, but interesting. I thought "I NEVER get this lucky" then I started thinking about it. I've been pretty lucky with some of my finds over the years. I look at it as, out of my 12 current games (4 cocktails, 7 uprights, 1 pinball) and a jukebox, I paid retail for my GT Complete and the rest were free.

Mine:
Working Donkey Kong - $50
Centipede - $50 (just needed a bridge rectifier)
Lot of 15 games - $1500 (sold UMK3 and 1 of 2 Rev X's and made over half my money back, sold a few more then traded the rest for a Golden Tee Complete).
BurgerTime - $100 (needed $5 in caps)
TMNT - $60 (could have had a Ms Pac and a Playchoice 10 for an extra $150 but didn't have room to haul them in my Rav4 :( )
Working red Donkey Kong - $250
Golden Tee 98 - $100 (that might not seem like such a good deal, but I traded it later for a *nice* Stellar Wars I found on CL)
Dig Dug cocktail - traded a couple of Nintendo boards that I had left over after projects (works and looks nice, just needs glass and underlay)
Pole Position and a *nice* Donkey Kong cocktail - traded a multicade project I was working on straight up.
Super Pac-Man - $100 (just needed a cap kit)
