Here is a list of games I have purchased over the last 12 months.

Working Pac-Man $25.00
Non-Working Pac-man $20.00
Working Cocktail Frogger $50.00
Non-Working Donkey-Kong 3 $35.00
Working (barely) centipede $60.00
Working Rampage $40.00
Working Elevator Action $40.00
Working Ms. Pac-man $75.00
Non-Working Ms. Pac-man $50.00
Semi-working Spy-Hunter $50.00

What have you guys scored?

I'm nowhere near as lucky as you, but I think my best deals so far have been a restored DK for $250 and a decent Centipede (was playing blind at the time) for $100.

I have scored a freebie or two, the RoadBlasters I had was one of those and had money inside to boot. The other was a n/w JAMMA cab that I converted to a 48-1 and flipped.

Last night I spotted a free Pac-Man and a free Toobin, but of course I was way too late to claim them. Oh well.

Those are all good deals....

Too bad on the toobin and pac-man....

Do you have an Android based phone? If so, download an app called Craigsnotifica

Anytime a posting with the word arcade in it gets posted I get notified. It checks craigslist every 5 minutes... Plus I drive a truck....

I think my top best are....

HUO Burgertime $100
Donkey Kong (needed fuse) $50
HUO Centipede $200
Previously restored Super Mario Bros. Pinball $700

I picked up a galaga with a 48-1 board in it for $100 They had zero knowledge of what it even was. all it needed was a monitor chassis which i bought a rebuilt one for $85. Picked up a tron for $100, someone had shut the switch off on top and thought it was non working. Picked up road riot and super chase for $35 each. Picked up another tron and asteroids deluxe for $300 for the pair. Super zaxxon for $75 delivered to me. That's all i can think of for my super craigslist deals

These are my best deals so far:

$20 working Frogger
$75 working Assault
$100 working Swimmer
FREE gutted Omega Race cockpit

My best deals:

Non working Tetris for $50. Had $187 in quarters in the coin box, and it took a $0.50 fuse to fix.

No working PC-10 (played blind) for $50 (never on route but not HUO). $12 cap kit fixed it.

Working Spy Hunter - Free
Working Operation Wolf - 50$
Working Wizard of Wor - 50$

Those are my best deals so far

Man I'm jealous of the sweet deals from CL. Competition here in MI is just brutal even with a shitty economy. If you don't see the ad right away then you can pretty much forget it. The only thing I've ever managed to buy off CL was my Simpsons. I bough it converted with only a monitor and paid $125 for it so not really a deal, but not bad either. My best deals have some from a local arcade that sold me stuff cheap a few years back and from family and friends who've spotted them for me.

The vultures on the Michigan CL will snap up anything....you can forget using anything other than an RSS feed for notifications for new postings.

But...somehow I've managed to get a few deals:
$100 working Tron
$100 working HUO Pole Position II
$75 Rowe BC-20 change machine with almost 300 bucks inside.

So I'm about even for my last 3 deals! :D

Mine wasn't a game, but rather a piece of test gear.

I picked up a new looking Tektronix dual trace 60MHz Digital LCD oscilloscope with matching Tektronix probes for $450 this time last year while in Denver on our annual father/son road trip.

It's already paid for itself with the repairs I've done with it.

My best on CL so far:

EA non working - Free. I put some work into it but decided to sell it to another KLOV member to buy a Tapper that became locally available

Berzerk non working - $100. Needed board work and a complete monitor rebuild. Now working thanks to my fellow KLOVers.

Very Large Fellowes commercial shredder - $25. I laughed when I saw this thing because it's something Kramer would have. It works great and looks new.
