Best clearcoat over original art.

I am in the process of clear coating my Satans Hollow. I had quite a few spots that needed to be bondo'd and primed, then repainted. Not to mention the both sides were faded. I repainted the whole cab in red. I then airbrushed the satan and finished it up by hand. I use the clear to get a smooth sheen across the whole cab and seal up my touch up work. Kinda liek a base coat clear coat deal...Bout 5 hours of touch up on each side :( I'll do 4 thin coats of clear over the whole machine. I'll use some 400 grit after the 2nd coat and 600 after the 3rd. The can says use 220 grit, but I find you can see the sanding marks if you use 220. (thats a reflection in the lower body of the SH)

I also sprayed my Reactor before applying the art. Did 4 coats & it made it super smooth to apply the art :)
