Wondering what others use for really dirty grimy cpos. I used some brasso with an old tooth brush and got these results. The first pic I already started and its noticeable, to the right of the 1st player button. Also the first pic was after a scrubbing with soapy water.

If anyones interested, I cleaned with soapy water, brasso with the tooth brush, wiped the excess, and wiped with water and then a clean rag.

Gets rid of that old grime and dirt soap wont get rid of. Brasso's the shiznit and I use it for lots of stuff its not intended for.

Windex and fine steel wool. (Only for the heavy, textured plastic type CPO's, like Ms. Pac-Man, etc. Definitely not for painted ones...)

Purple Power and a toothbrush works wonders on CPO's. Also works great to remove nicotine from anything, but it will discolor strip artwork, test first. Anything painted on is usually ok, and anything coated is good, but plain old stickers are bad juju for this stuff. That's what I use for quite a bit, and it works pretty well. Just be sure to wipe down with windex afterwards to finish.

I always use magic eraser for CPOs. However, it's not such a great idea to use it on side art unless you are VERY careful.

Magic Eraser works for me.... if it's really bad I'll throw in some rubbing alcohol in to the mix.
