Where am I going to find the cheapest "quality" 2-way multi-JAMMA? I am interested in running Area 51/Max Force duo + Site 4 in the same cabinet. I don't need a 6 in 1... but if that is the cheapest way to go. I'm not sure if these games use the -5v that many 6-in-1 multi-JAMMA's seem to omit though...

Mikes Arcade's looks nice... but damn it's pricey.

I'm running that exact setup with this board: http://www.jammaboards.com/store/2-in-1-multijamma-switcher-pcb-gbs-8118-gbs-8118.html ... though this one will probably work too: http://www.hollandcomputers.com/pro...C-Board-GBS-8118-Jamma-Switcher-2517p6397.htm (I think it's the new version of that one). They power both boards at the same time, so all the power wires are hooked up (the 6-in-1 switches power, so they went cheap and didn't do -5V to save a relay).

Otherwise, I think you're stuck with one of these: http://www.arcademvs.com/ARCADE_ACESSERIOR.htm or the Mike's Arcade one.

the options were so shitty, and im so cheap, i just used 2 jamma harnesses and a bunch of diodes.

Most of those switchers require extensive modifications anyways
IRC dogp didnt have any gun issues leaving the opto wires all tied togther, but i did.

SO i made a simple circuit to fix it using a dpdt relay

heres a pure shit(tm) diacrapgram(tm)

Using the Chinese adapters... I am guessing it would behoove one to pick up some JAMMA extension cables? I'm guessing they don't include them?

My god that Holland Computers website is SOOOOO SLOOOOOW... but I placed an order. I'll let you all know how it works out.

Heh, I know... it's funny, because they apparently do web hosting too. Who would sign up for hosting on a site that's that slow. ;) They do also sell them on ebay, but shipping is cheaper directly from their site... if you can wait for the pages to load.

I see you're running compact flash as well. My A51/Max has a CF on it and I just ordered a 16MB CF for the other... sure glad I picked up two CF "drives" from Sweden or wherever in the hell in EU I got them...

Mike's IS pricey, but I've had one in use pretty regularly for 5 years (and counting) and have not had a single issue, so... there's value in that.

EDIT: Not just with the same boards either, I tend to swap them out a bit in this cabinet. I haven't had an issue with any combination of Jamma boards I threw at it yet. My box is a 2 button, two 8 way sticks, 2 coin slots and P1 & P2 button setup.
