Best cab to put a pacmania or galaga 88 in???Or both...

So i have been running my galaga 88 in my regular galaga cab for a while now.. I need to put galaga back in it.
I just aquired a Pacmania board!!! (Wooohooo!!!) was kind of thinking of putting both Pacmania and Galaga 88 in one cab...kind of like a reunion type deal or combo...however you want to look at it...
Definitely will try and use my pacmania marquee since its sweet as hell.... The cab that both games came in was pretty generic anyway..
What would be a good candidate?????? Vertical mon, 1 joy, 1 button.......

One last question .. Where to grab a jamma switcher and is this as simple as it sounds??

Thanks,
Matt

personally i'd say put them in an original Namco cab, the style that they came in. but those are getting pretty hard to find, and you think the cab is generic anyway.

since that's probably out of the question, i'd put 'em in a Pac/Ms. Pac Midway cabinet. there are still a crapload of them out as conversions that can be had cheap. this is what i was going to do with my G'88 until i lucked into a full game in a Namco cabinet.

and as for JAMMA switchers, if you're going to do just two games i'd suggest dropping the money for one of the ones that Mike's Arcade makes. it's pricey but gets excellent reviews and should last a long, long time.

Hot damn a Galaga 88 board! I would love one of those! Personally I would love to have an extra Galaga style cabinet and decorate it with the Japanese flyer artwork:

The Atari cabinet Galaga 88 came in is an abomination!

Galaga 88 came in an ugly Atari cabinet after Midway lost the licensing rights from Namco.

Thanks for the great ideas guys....Since I have recently picked a couple larger cabs im not really feeling the small galaga or pacman cabs as much for this project ..don't get me wrong I still like them better!!!! But I would like a 25 in monitor for pacamania/galaga 88... was thinking of maybe eventually putting galaga 88 art( not cheap american genero crapola) on one side and pacmania sideart on other....
Anybody have pacmania sideart????????Got cash in hand.. or tons of trade material...

My two cents: I recently got a 25" Neo Geo cab with Namco Classic Vol 1 in it and playing Galaga straight on with a 25 inch monitor is an effort! Instead of looking down at the screen, there is a lot of head movement to see everything. I also never liked looking straight at Galaga 88 and I love playing it looking downward in my Galaga cabinet. I bought a used Clay MultiJamma to switch Galaga and Galaga 88 but there is a lot of prepwork for it and not much room. Next time I'm going to try the Mike's Arcade switcher.

bump...anymore ideas???

How about a cabinet made from Legos?

Pacmania was in an atari cab. If I remember its very similar to a system 2 cab.
Contact Rich from thisoldgame and see if he has any pacmania art left. He did a very small run of them a couple years back. I have a set but its for my machine.
Other than that your not going to find the artwork. Most of the pacmanias came from the factory with art only on one side.
