I may be picking up a non-working Roadblasters on the cheap, as in free, but I have no interest in Roadblasters specifically. I was looking at the other System 1 games and have played Indiana Jones, Marble Madness and Road Runner, but what's Peter Pack Rat like? If I get it and convert it, I'm leaning to Indiana Jones.
Advice, suggestions welcomed.

Marble Madness is a great game... for a while... but it's short. IJ is fun. Peter Packrat is fun but you'll over pay for it. I've never gotten much in to Road Runner.

Peter Packrat is an expensive and rare find. Road Runner is very difficult to find the optical stick to run it. I would vote for the Indiana Jones, you do not see it as often but easy to find parts and the PCB for.

marble madness ALL _ THE _WAY....

one of THE best 2 player games of all time. its even better when both players know what they are doing. very tough in the later levels though.

Marble Madness is my favorite! Might be a short game, but it is very challenging. My 14 year old son thinks it is the best. Works up a sweat every time he plays it. I love the music on it.
Indiana Jones is fun, but challenging as well
Road Runner is really challenging and that joystick is very expensive
Peter Pack Rat is fun, but has it's own challenges
Road Blasters is loved by my kids

Road Runner is my favorite. It is essentially a perfect platformer, great graphics, sound and gameplay. Gets progressively challenging as far as even 4 full loops in to the game about 30 minutes into a game where invisible paint gets introduced which totally changes the behavior of the Coyote and thus the game. The joystick is indeed a pain in the ass but the game is awesome.

If you're willing to pay the price you can get a J/S for Road Runner from Happs. I did and it works great! I like RR and IJ best.

Which one are you using Terminator?

The "Analog Joystick with Ultimate Handle" from Suzo-Happ. (Happs) It has a big square plate on the top side. Just remove the plate it's only held on by a couple screws.

It's about $168. Mine works great without any issues. I had to run a drill through the 4 mounting holes to make them a tiny bit wider because the plastic halves of the upper and lower assembly were slightly off center so the carriage bolts wouldn't go all the way through. Then it was just a matter of figuring out the wiring.
