Would love a MB, CFTBL etc but come on. Just, just, cmon.

SO, what do you guys think is the best fall/halloween themed pin thats within the realm of reason from a cost standpoint?

The head on Funhouse always creeps me out.

Adams Family comes to mind, but that one is on the pricy side too...

Gottlieb Freddy Nightmare On Elm Street used to be the ultimate low budget Halloween pin, but since the remake of the movie came out seems you can not touch one for any less than $1,200.00

Great suggestions guys! As for budget, not sure. I have never spent more than 1800 on a pin (RFM) and I don't have much of an appetite to do so...I think if I could get a nice 'keeper' for less than 2500, I could make that work

If you're ok with $1000+ pins, then Tales from the Crypt, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Elvira & the Party Monsters, Class of 1812, Freddy, Phantom of the Opera, and Bram Stoker's Dracula are all good choices.

Creature from the Black Lagoon, Monster Bash, etc, are of course also good - but much pricier...

EASILY, easily, easily BSD (Bram Stokers Dracula).

Gloomy, subtle and a vicious game (like Dracula) - lots of fun. And its not clowny like MB, the Elvira pins, or the TFTC seem to be (they may be good games, but they have intentional humor tossed in). Drac is humorous i think, but you have to dig for it - its over the top unintentional monster humor, like the Saturday chiller fest films were.

I have been playing it everyday since i got it - more so than any a lister i ever had.

Was thinking about setting it up in the driveway on Halloween too.

You can score one for less than 1800 too.

BSD is also a great choice, I have one and love it, but I wouldn't discount TFTC because of its humor. It also has possibly the goriest DMD animations out there. Heads chopped off, faces cut in half, and lots of gratuitous vomit.

+1 to BSD and TFTC. BOTH are great games and have stay power.
IMHO DE games get such an unwarranted bad rap.
Gotta say no to the Freddy pin though. Great Halloween theme but long term .... errrrr ... mmmmmm prolly not.

+2 on BSD. It is alot of fun and very challenging. So challenging with the short lightning flippers that it will make you mad sometimes. But that is part of why you just can't seem to walk away from it. It got the cool red tinted DMD, lots of well placed movie quotes and awsome vampire artwork. What more could you ask for?

Man! You guys thought of them all. I was gonna say Freddy or Dracula wah! I used to have a Bone Busters, and never seen one since, it is crazy hard to find (seems like) there are some price very high occasionally. Good luck on your quest.

BTW that is cool to decorate your house with pinballs. What is your plan for Thanksgiving and Xmas. I need some ammo, my wife might just go for this.

The only one I remember playing BITD is Addams Family. Great pin, but as you say really high price.

If I had the $1000-1,500 I'd probably get a Haunted House. I really like the look of that theme.
