So, I finally found a PCB I've been ogling for a long time, but the only cab that I could really put it in is the same one running Soul Calibur II. Since I'm never able to decide on anything, I'd like to have a way to switch between the two JAMMA boards without having to go inside the cabinet or wire in a new switch, if such a thing exists. I'd also, ideally, like one that runs both boards simultaneously so I don't have to wait for the System 246 to boot every single time I want to play it instead. I'd also prefer something relatively affordable. Any suggestions? The 2-way on Jammaboards looked pretty good but they're out of stock :(

Yeah, I have heard good things about Mike's, but $135.00 is a tough pill to swallow for a switcher. I have been looking for one also for my KI cab but I figured I would just wait for a used one to come up.

I picked up a used one recently, but they don't come up for sale very often.

That would make sense. Which is probably why I am still waiting……….

Are there any other options? I'm sure it's great but that's pretty steep for me right now.

I've had one in a game for about 5 years now and it's worked flawlessly every time. Sure it's spendy, but you get your money's worth.

I do not doubt it, thank you for telling us your experience with it.

only downside to mikes is that it powers both boards at the same time, and inputs can get crossed.

Yeah, that is true. MasterFygar is looking for one that powers both, but I should probably rethink my own desires because that would not be necessary for my KI2 setup.

yea it's not a horrible thing but can be an issue with some games. it's not really a deal breaker tho atleast not for me.

Brood, is there another good one that does not power both boards all the time?

The website says "this item donot need any other power supply .just plug in and play" but it still needs 5v?

-5v sorry, it is plug and play but the board was designed missing the provision for -5 to all of the boards (zenomorp has some vids on how to do both of these mods).

What? What was that? Someone mention my name? Sorry. I was too busy admiring myself in the mirror. :)
