4015 / 4027 are 4kx1 rams, 4116 is 16kx1.
Pin 13 which is a chip select on 4015/4027 is the extra switched address line on the 4116, so when 6E:9 goes high, it doesn't disable the 4116, just uses the other address bank.
Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to put them in just rows 9 and 11...
As long as you have one chip in each pair of 9/10 E/F/G/H and 11/2 E/F/G/H, it'll work fine... I normally use the location with the least damaged sockets, although for reliability, you might want to remove all the sockets, and replace 8 of them with good sockets for the new RAM.
