Awesome game, awesome get. 14,xxx you say? I just cracked 9 grand and was excited. The game is tough.

At around 10,000+ real tough. The trick is as you enter a new maze is to immediately spot the robots that have clear shots at you and make sure you are not in line for a shot (especially a diagonal shot), then after moving out of fire line, worry about shooting those robots closest to you. And always exit to the right side positioned low on the exit. Mame is a good place to practice. You can immediately pause at the beginning of a maze and trace the possible "vectors" from each robot to you to get a feeling where the safe zones are.

Very nice snag. IMHO, Berzerk might just be a must have for any respectable collection.
